~*Faeries*~
On this page I'll be tell all about these little creatures, so if you love the fey read the page and if you don't I pity you and will pray for you. *grin*

Where they live...
Faeries live in a place called the otherworld. It's a world that is beyond the touch of man. It's on the astral plane. It is said that way back humans and faeries lived together, but as people stopped believing in the goddess and christians took over the land the gates to the faerie world that were once all over, slowly one by one began closing until there were none left, though some say that if you truly believe and are skill enough you can still you the gateways suchs as stonehenge. Faeries as i said before also used to live on the Isle of Avalon.
What they look like...
Faeries come in all shapes, sizes and colors. Some can take hnuman form. It is said that before the faeries of Acient Avalon saw humans they had no shape at all. Most faeries take the general appearence of humans, only smaller. But some faeries like the Salamanders look like flames, they are the faerie for the element of fire and control body temp. They can be from a few inches to 14 feet tall. I have placed some faerie pictures on here for you to look at.
Faeries that correspond with the elements....
Gnomes and Earth- We also have one of these appointed to us at birth, they help us control our physical vehicles. If we don't connect with our inner gnome ennough we tend to "space out" but to much connection with our gnome is bad cause it can cause over practicality, cynical, and skeptical.

Salamanders and Fire- These were covered a little bit in the previous section. They can be from a few inches tall to 14 feet tall. The bigger ones live in and around volcanos. It is said that we each have a salamander appointed to us at birth, they control our body temp.

Faeries and Air~ There are many different kinds of elemental faeries that you can have. We each have one they help stimulate knowledge and inspiration. Too much connection-overactive mind To little connection- lack of common sense.

Undines and Water~ These help us use our psychic powers. To much connection- can over load our emotions and make us contraditory. To little connection- lack odf sympathy
Faerie Plants...
4-leaf clovers- It is said that anyone who holds a four leaf clover has the ability to see the fey, and they are also used to break a faerie spell.

St.Johns Wart- You are never supposed to step on this because if you do it is said that the faerie horses will carry you far away then drop you in an unknown area.

(More coming soon)

Thanks to Brian Froud and his many books on faeries.

Faerie Poems
(I wrote this one)
Faeries turn , and dance and spin
Open your hearts and let them in
You can sing and dance and play
just liek faeries do all day
Look in awe at faerie wings
Stay away from faerie rings
If you wish to see the fae
Carry a clover from day to day
Faeries beauty can make you cry
If you see one don't blink and eye
If you do they will escape
Flutter of wing and flap of cape
Always keep a fearie in your heart
Whether one of light or one of dark.
Faerie Calls...
FAERIE CALL 1
Faerie Children come and play
Brightest blessings to the fae
Come and worship, bless this rite
Celebrate with us tonight
(thanks jessica for getting this for me last summer)

FAERIE CALL 2
(i wrote this so don't laugh)
They twist they turn they dance about
Believe believe and they'll come out
faerie children run and run
Play with humans, oh what fun
I call upon the faeries now
Teach me magick show me how

FAERIE CALL 3
Come out of your faerie bower
Come upon the golden hour
Come to us I beg you please
Faeries dancing upon the breeze.
